A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Mike made the move to Myrtle Beach in 2019 with his wife, Judi, in search of a more relaxed coastal lifestyle. He’s a proud father of two adult children—JB, who serves in the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and Molly, who works in marketing for a national firm in California.

Mike brings over 40 years of hands-on experience in construction, landscaping, and building management. For three decades, he successfully ran his own business, specializing in landscaping services and custom home building across Northern Virginia. Later, he accepted the role of Director of Building Operations at a 350-unit senior living community in Arlington, VA—where he embraced the philosophy that “Our customers are the authors of our success.”

In addition to his professional career, Mike dedicated 35 years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Great Falls, Virginia, proudly serving his community.

Now enjoying life at the beach, Mike spends his free time woodworking, gardening, and doing just about anything that involves quality time with Judi.
